Kirk Tjalas, Ph.D., FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, VA-BC, CAMAG, is a double-board-certified as family & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Priority Medical Group, providing complete behavioral health care to teens and adults living in and around Tucson, and Tempe, Arizona.
Kirk earned his doctorate degree from Universal Life Church Seminary in Elk Grove, California, his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and his associate’s degree in social work from Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.
Kirk brings more than 20 years of experience in nursing to Priority Medical Group. During his career, he’s served at a wide range of medical facilities, including emergency rooms, home health clinics, and urgent care.
When he isn’t meeting with patients or developing treatment plans, Kirk serves as an educator and entrepreneur. In fact, he owns seven health care organizations under the Tjalas Enterprises umbrella.
Kirk enjoys speaking at local, regional, and national events. He also serves on the board of the National Small Business Association and various other charitable and community organizations as a board member.
